That's pretty amazing how much quieter it is. They can prolly cut a few hundred pounds of sound proofing.

The 03 6.0 was pretty quiet................until the programming wouldn't work worth a damn and they had to do away with the "quietness" lol

Yeah I love um, some have a whole 6 manpower....to push it in the shop lol.


The first gen 6.0 had the "pilot injection", made up qhuiet..............but the first truck i did a PDI on died on the test drive and had to be towed back..............bad omen that turned out to come true.

ford needs to hire chip foose to redesign that ugly front end!!!

I love my 7.3, and I love the noise even more! Really good times at the drive thru window. I just tell the guy to speak up, I'm driving a MAN TRUCK.
