I don't mean to hurt your feelings at all but you are noooooo way ready for a car like that. You need at least 5 years of experience or more to go that fast. You need to start out in the 11s or 12s and then build from there. Like I said, I don't mean to offend you but I don't want to see people get hurt either. You can't imagine and no one can describe it to you how violent a car that fast is.

Run only to the 1/8 until you get some seat time.

I got a buddy with a c headed 565 true 10.5 car with 3 foggers................hes been as fast as a 10.75 in a different car............Pretty sure I will get the driving duties after he turns that bitch loose for the first time lol.

What i'm getting at is I'm not sure you comprehend the caliber of car you want to build and drive.......................

By all means dont cut corners and be safe as well as reasonable about it.

I agree. When I licensed in 1997, I had never driven anything faster than an 11.50. Went out and ran 5.60's in the 1/8th to license. Nearly soiled myself the first time I let go of the transbrake. You do get used to it, but I'd have been much better off taking baby steps, but I didn't. Just be careful, I doubt you really know what you are in for! Trust me, I know of what I speak.

jr i know you said this is the only car yall have close to being ready but you can start with less hp until you get every thing sorted out and seat time I am build a Ranger right now I am starting at around 500hp not alot of hp but I am building it for more hp than I have just because I have not been on the track sence mid 90s I ran a 69 mustang run high 7s in the 1/8 that was fast to me than and if you have never been in a car that will pull the front tires off the ground be carefull I busted the A Frame from letting off all at once the first time needless to say first outing was not to good.that is why I am starting out with small hp until I get some seat time under me before build a monster to put in it but if you going with the monster all out at first just becareful and safe . I wish you the good luck with it and when you go t-n-t it make bye runs until you get the feel for it and (not saying you can't drive by no means) my buddy has 900hp in his and they are no way I would jump in it and run it until I had some seat time I have seen what it will do in a blink of a eye when the one that ran in front of him drop some water on the track left rear hit it turn him into the wall at about 100ft in the run and he run mid 5s in the 1/8 high 8s in the 1/4 good luck on your build
