Always a need for a better part and a better way of building them.

indeed. I saw on another forum that Randy Malik commented they have potential, but they weren't yet released. This was last year I believe. Just wondering if anyone had exposure to them yet.

I wonder how this would work for street applications where excessive idling/low oil pressure happens.

All the prototypes are over 3 years old ... they have been working out logistics of the metalurgy for axles, rollers, lifter bodies and then WHERE to actually build them.
Hope they are available at some time and don't just fall by the wayside.
I haven't kept up with 'em so they may already be available.

Didn't Scheubeck have a similar Ceramic roller lifter? Did the company who bought out his stuff get those too? Did they work any good?

I have been researching this type of lifter all day and saw some feedback on the Schubecks, with very mixed results and a lot of skepticism on the ceramic ball.

If these PR lifters are a metal ball I'd love to see them out there, as it seems like a very sound theory and could answer a ton of issues with valvetrain, especially on the higher dollar motors that see street time and max effort race motors. I hate to hear about all of these motors getting ruined by a bad lifter, especially since they already cost so much. Maybe the Isky EZ-Rolls are the answer in the mean time.
