460 cheap build

Early 70s block, stock crank, scat h beams, flat tops. Herbert solid roller 640, 640 242@050 110 lobe sep. Stock a429 heads , 850 Holley on 2” open spacer. 2” headers. I believe the cam could be better but I did some swapping and got the stuff cheap so that’s what it is for the mud truck. Made 542hp at 6000 and 565 ft lbs at 4700. I’ll try to figure out how to post some pictures.

Tyson what did you do for your vale job and are the heads ported ? My 460 drag engine is similar except my heads are edelbrock and I have a sft camshaft .Do you know the compression ratio?
