Air bag recall 2006 Mustang

So I am turning a 2006 Mustang into a competition use vehicle -non public roads . I have the title to it in my name. Ford not only keeps sending the notices for air bag recall in the mail but also sent a mobile mechanic to the title listed address to replace it. He did not get access to it. All air bags have been safely removed.
What is the proper method to get off the Ford list and ensure title is not listed as rebuilt - scraped  ??

Can you take it to a dealer and have it replaced? After that you can remove it.
