Oil gallery plugs front and rear
G'day,
Have just rebuilt a 1986 460 engine,
A question on the 4 plugs for the oil galleries, when assembling the engine I ended up putting the 2 long plugs into the front galleries and the two shorter into the rear,, will the longer plugs in the front oil galleries restrict oil pressure.
just that I picked up a bit of info after assembling the engine saying use the long plugs at the rear as there is less chance of them coming loose.
Just hope there is no restriction as I don't feel like ripping the front timing cover off and rectify if there is a problem.
