While researching stuff related to my recent pump failure, I came across a video that recommended installing a torrington on the park gear (https://www.ckperformance.com/View/ROLLERIZED-PARK-GEAR). I hadn't heard of this upgrade before and am wondering if there is a benefit to it for drag racing?

Here is the video and you can skip to 6:24 where he talks about this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pR1BzCjoPCQ&t=647s

That's the number #10 Thrust washer. It's the one I meant, not #9, when I mentioned the sprag race drilling through oiling hole, mod. I have spun one of the washers that was not staked well enough.

It does take some load from the output shaft. I don't see why you would not rollerize it.

Some I do some I leave . The washers don't usually wear much anyway . It's the usual T350 bearing
