i want to put a 460 in my mustang mustang that will make it run 10.0 flat in a quarter mile. any suggestions on a route i should take????

a cheap stroker kit 11.1 compression and a cheap set of fms heads from lem should run 10s no problem

yes they will work on a stock block but have different piston valve pierce points, you are going to have to change pistons so might as well get a set to fit them, you will still have room to grow....

has any heard about or used the procomp aluminum 300cc heads? what is the good and bad???

Bad, read the sticky at the top of the engine tech section....

the only resemblance they have to the TFS streets is they are aluminum, and thats it....and porting doesn't seem to help them any

what kind of cubes would you guys recommend on the stroker kit. id like to be able to say 557 cubic inch but i want what will work best with the heads from lem. thanks for all the help guys, like i said before, im new to the big block game and i got to get behind the wheel of my first big block the other day and what a wild ride lol... Shocked

call Lem and tell him what you are wanting to do with this engine and he will give the best package for what you want as far as cubic in. and so on but you want be able to cut corners to do it right with what he tells you

IMO I like the big bore .80 or larger either a 532 a 4,30 or 4.50 557 works good i have had both i just think the heads like the larger bore to unshroud the valves. this is just my.02
