RULES FOR SELLING

Before posting in the For Sale / Wanted /forum, please be sure to read all the following rules regarding selling .

The purpose of www.429-460.com is to be a resource and to promote Big Block Ford enthusiats . The For Sale / Wanted forum is provided to help forum members sell some of their excess parts or to get a lead on those hard to find items.

Please note that items listed for sale are not offered www.429-460.com. These are private offerings from individual forum members - so buyer beware! We cannot provide you with any protection.

Rules:

You will not be allowed to post items For Sale unless you have at least 25 posts and have been registered on this forum for at least one month. The purpose of this is to try protect forum members.

Commercial vendor offerings will not be allowed unless the vendor shares full details of their product and they spend significantly more time contributing to the technical input on this forum than they do trying to sell their products.

Group Buys are allowed provided that the purpose of the Group Buy is to reduce prices for everyone and not to create profit. A nominal profit is allowed for organizing efforts - such as getting their own personal parts cost covered by the group buy.

Please always state your price, location and pics.

your classified will be deleted if deemed nessecary !

The STUFF FOR SALE and STUFF WANTED forums are a great feature. Free access to a world wide market with just a few minor rules and yet buyers and sellers have to constantly be reminded to state price and location. If the ad does not state price and loction, just delete it. Craigslist and eBay do not hesitate to delete a listing that does not follow the rules. The user profile asks for a location but does not require it. Maybe location should be a required field. I respect user privacy but giving up your city and state is not going to have people flocking to you door. This forum is 'buyer beware'. As a buyer, I am put off when an item does not have a location or price. Vendors readily give all kinds of contact information in an effort to be open and upfront with customers. Part time sellers also need to gain customer confidence.

Hey, Billy Barty: Maybe you should read the rules for selling on this forum, it seems that you're a bit shy of the required number of posts to sell here. You need 25 posts to qualify (you have one). Be patient, you'll get there.

Well, you wouldn't have to delete all of those , IF it would let me !!!!

It tells me I can't delete posts or threads.... WTF ???!!!
