Thanks for the pic's Gerry.
Tore, I was wondering about a electric deal myself. I have a couple of friends that run them w/no issues.

Does anyone else have any experience with an electric vacuum pump? How much pressure do they draw?

Re: pic's of your vacumn pump
I run an electric pump on my dragster.
IMHO, don't count on an electric pump to make any more power. At idle it will pull 5-6" max that's more than a set of header evacs, but I don't know about WOT.
The electric pumps works great on an alcohol engine to keep the condensation out of the oil. That's why I use one. The oil still looks new after 75+ passes instead of the milkshake looking oil you see on many alky engines. I run my pump any time the engine is running and I also run it 2-3 minutes after a pass and it keeps all the water/alky vapor sucked out of the engine.

That is you Rick, and you don't have to worry about room.
