Old auction of Glidden's 72 P/S Pinto....

Saw this 2007 auction of Bob Glidden's 72 P/S Pinto was posted over on the Cleveland site & thought it was interesting. Cool pics & video.

That was coo Dave. Thanks. I was kid of expecting to see an action video of that car running, not just a slide show. But it was still cool, nonetheless.

Sorry, didn't think to say slide show. All I was thinking about at the time was hunting to find 1 video file in a sea of other crap in the temp internet sub folders so I could save it.

I have photos I took of that car around here somewhere when Gapp & Rouse raced it at the Gator Nationals in 1973. I'll have to try and find them to post up.

If this is/was the '72 Pinto of Glidden's then this is the first Gapp & Roush build of a Pinto which they sold to Glidden. Right after building this ride, they sold it and built the '73 Pinto. The second car is the one from the '73 Gatornationals.

It sold for $262,500
