had a car in our tech class today..

guy brought in a 70 camaro with a 502 running a "3/4" race cam and could not figure out why on earth he couldn't beat a 460 ford in a race
being the ass that i am i quickly answered without thinking, "its because your driving a chevy"
We get to go over the car tomorrow to make sure everything's running like it should. engine was built by the last class so no wonder it does not get down the track quickly.

Tell him its the 3/4 race cam they forgot the other 1/4 of the cam in it

oh and tell him he is only running on 6 with the 3/4 cam he need a full cam to get all 8 hitting

never thought i would see the day where i would find hydro lifters on a solid roller cam

why on gods green earth would someone do this
