IHRA license question

well, we decided to be fully legal this year. What license do I need to run in the high 4's (1/8th) with my Mustang? We only run heads up and don't run national events in IHRA. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

but my question is ... i heard everyone is going with ihra due to the costs ...... but can i use there lic. for an NHRA event ???

They honor NHRA ones too, if your going to get one get the NHRA one. You can run both.

All the tracks that I run at are either IHRA or AHRA and we just have to have a license to run the heads up events that we run. My local track is IHRA but we don't get much information on anything but bracket racing. I was guessing it was that license but was unsure.

If you have ANY current IHRA license, you can apply for a NHRA "crossover" license.......NO passes are neccessary!!!
All you need is 2 time slips from ANY track in the last 6 months, an NHRA licensed driver signature, an NHRA track official signature, and a medical physical......and you will receive a TOP SPORTSMAN license from NHRA good to 7.50!!!

I should add, that ANY IHRA license upgrade will require 5 passes again.......one of the reasons I went to a NHRA license......plus its good at ANY track.

Bruno, N.H.R.A., does NOT. RECONIZE I.H.R.A. license, but I.H.R.A. does reconize N..H.R.A. licenses.
