That'll buff right out. By the avatar, i thought you drag raced and you were in your dragster. This is pretty cool though, just had too much torque. Ford has a problem with their 385 series engines where they make waaaaay too much power. It is a factory f#!k up, we can't do anything about it. Its torture! Plus its got those wicked W's!

Man I'm sorry about that! It's a bad thing for sure.

I swear it looks like they could have done a little better job of grading the track, filling in the ruts, and packing it.

Awh man! what happened? How much weight where you pulling? I hope it didn't hurt any of the engines, it sounded like it really got up in the rpms.

Jonesy, most of the sleds will exert about 60,000 lbs of force or so on the bigger tractors like that.

Looks like very little was holding on the axle tube. Like to much was machined off.

Spindles for the planetairies are welded by an company to the center part of the rearend on both sides (outside and inside).

The weldings failed and we saw that there has not been enough heat in them when they were welded together.
Took the paint of on the other side and saw that that one was also already cracked......
