best pass---- worst 60'

took her off the trailer and blew the cob webs out of her ... she was definetly was hooking tonight ,the first pass with the spray , she was all air , went back and tighten the shocks all the way up and she never left the ground 2nd, 3rd and 4th passes just sprayed the first kit and boy she was like a freight train , it feels really good to say she felt fast , all this was with no bars , but with 29.5 x 10.5 --(3062s) next week we will do a comparision with the new scoop .......

btw the tune is still off , no timing mark and she is still on the rich side , we will get back at here next week , plus some body work

thxs Blake , we have several issues , 1 is the holley reg to the carb doesnt like that new fuel pump , and i have a bad 16 volt batt so i was fighting low voltage most of the night , im going to a dual batt setup this time around , we will start to get the 1st kit to come on sooner and hope w/ that mph gear/convertor should put us in the mid to low 40's , then we can get after the fogger

well ive been in the garage all morning , and i figured why the 60' are suffering ( dan already told me to replace this part years ago ) so we are loaded up and gonna see what she does today ......

well im back home --- this morning i tighten up the throttle cable , it was either gonna break the carb or break the cable ......

well she broke the cable--the first pass was a better 60'
this pass was on motor

60' --- 1.295 ---- my dash just about fell in my lap

1/8 --- 5.443 @ 129.2 ha ha ...... with no green oil and w's

the only thing that sucked to day was only 2 passes , 12 volt battery and it was only 1/8 mile due to the race out there , it probably would have been a solid 8.50 - 8.40 pass
