I believe Moroso makes a drag spring.

Or alot of guys use a 4 cylinder spring.

You sure the suspension isn't in a bind?

I raced a Futura for years with a 351W combo and it would damn near drag the right corner of the bumper when it launched.

that's what it sounds like to me. There is not much difference between the non-V8 springs and I would think that the springs you have would be pretty soft.

Also, is the car complete yet? Or is it still a rolling shell? That will make a difference too.

it is a rolling shell. gas tank and drivers seat to go yet. not much else though. i do have spherical bushings in the 8.8 housing and the upper control arm has one to where it attaches to the tork box. pretty sure it doesnt bind at all. thanks for info guys. bobn

I wouldn't worry until it's all back together and ready to hit the track. for what it's worth I actually ran a set of Fairmont station wagon springs in mine to help level the back out. with the regular V8 stuff in there the ass would drag after a few months of racing 3 or so times a month.
