dodged a big one

tornado went over my house last night. Touched down eighth mile away. If you type yates city or elmwood into youtube, there are videos. No one got hurt that I know of. Barns, couple houses got hit. Most of the business district got wiped out. All historic old buildings. People got trapped in the theater, but all got out ok

Wow, we got hit with the same storm then. Same thing happened to me last night. Then about a year ago a tornado went through the park drive about a block from my house. It hit a condominium complex and you could see right where went through the park area and a group of trees. I found it before the crappy news team did. Looks like we both lucked out, I hope everyone is okay. It went through the small town of Milan 45 minutes down from me and I hope Milan Dragway wasn't hit.

You probably would have chased it. If racing wasn't enough for your adrenalin.

wish I could have seen it myself. Was getting wife and kids to basement. Good thing it did miss. From siren til it went over was under a minute. Plan was to go outside after they were safe. Might have seen richter following it

we had a Tornado watch today from 1:15 pm till 8 pm here in Maryland, the weather service downed it to a severe t-storm around 3 pm.
