Finally got this thing home in one piece!!
Went to the track tonight with Ky's school bus engine. It went 3 5.82's in a row. I won the 1 round gambler's race . That felt good for something to finally go right this year. I started putting the engine in at 10am this morning ,then got it fired and the transbrake wouldn't work . Had to work on it for a while but finally got it lined out. It was crazy hot tonight too. I'm pretty impressed with the little 466

I agree with Bill, Glad to finallly see a good post about the Bird this year. Other than the Bash it looks to have been a rough one so far. Keep on keepin on.........

Yes Randy ,same convertor. I thought about changing it ,but I'm gonna run 1/4 with it at Norwalk . Didn't want to push the RPM's too high. I think it'll stay right around 7000 or under this way. At least it made a night without coming apart somewhere between the headlights and taillights

Good Deal
Old Hippie,
It is good to hear some positive news from your camp.
It sure was nice of Jelly to loan a mill to you.
I considered offering the 514, but the way my luck goes, I would probably need it the following week!
Now you are all set to go!
Sounds good.
Take care,
Keith
