Timing???

Heres My question, If i had a digital 6 box working with a sbf motor and it automatically retarted the timing 6 degree on spray, would it still do the same with a BBF in the car now? 2 different distributors but how would i know if it will retard enough for the new motor on spray? Timing is set at 34 degrees on motor. My sbf was also set on 34 degrees as well. WHat do you guys think??

the ignition does not care what motor it is on. If you have it programmed to pull timing, it will pull timing.
