I just started a job last week as a janitor at the County High School. Today the plant I worked at called and said I had to start work there today or lose my recall . So , I started out this morning at the school and will finish up at the plant tonight!!Probably made the wrong choice ,but it's about $8 more on the hour

Well ,I went in to the plant. They said 12 hours a day for at least 2 to 3 months with no days off..........So ..after I finished there I went back to the school and talked to the principal. He told me that he'd try his best to get me maxed out on pay and that he really wanted me to stay with them. I'd forgot how much I didn't like that plant!! So , tomorrow it's back to the A/C and the school for "8" hours!! What A crazy Day And I got the weekends off!!

$8.00 an hour...there's people getting laid of every day or let go because of cutbacks, hell yeah I like 8 more every hour. Schools around here are nice too, excellent benefits and nice retirements. Good luck in the AC for 8 hour days, with benefits, off on weekends.

Dano,imo you made the right decision.The plant will more than likely work your ass off for a few months until they get their orders caught up.Then they will screw you around like the last time. Money's not everything,you have no bills,and time and weekends off doing what you want means alot. Besides,those young teachers will be on that mullet like stink on shit

Good luck Dan-O. I think you made the right choice. It takes a special person to work around kids and I think you have the touch. Heck you put up with all of us on here, it should have been good training.

Schmitty he has a way around kids if He lasted and didn't pull all his hair out with his Daughter he will be ok....
Dan Bigger Money is not always best if it doesn't last....

Good luck Dano!I got some good news as well.Fedex called and they need me to come in Friday and take a road test and do some final paper work for them.I will be working Monday-Friday weekends off between $420 to$540 a week after taxes.Finally some go news!!YES.................

hopefully this is the good news week than since we have had so much bad luck! hopefully we get to run the car Friday night and get it to run a 6.00. The wife went in today for a job interview(been laid off for a year and half now) and the kid just keeps on racking up sponsors for his dirtbike! Of course none are paying sponsors but it is for stuff we have to get anyways so it is good to get stuff much cheaper! So now all I need to here is me getting a interview with TVA and the week could not get a whole lot better!
