camshaft recomend ?
I'm needing cam advice, I'm gonna pull my procomp headed 429, I need to look at the bearings anyway, and put my flat top piston PI head 460 in. Its the back up motor for my cougar. I'm wanting to go pretty mild so I can street drive the car more I was thinking something that pulls to 5500 - 6000 ?? I have a torker II intake or stealth, 850 dp headers Thinking I would keep it simple and low maintnence. The PI's dont have any port work but I'm thinking of having some done.

That should get you to 5500. I've got their bigger (of the two) BM II cam. I would tell you how it works but I haven't fired it yet
Lunati is a Holley performance product, many people don't know that though.

LUNATI is no longer owned by Holley ... they bought themselves back from Holley almost 2 years ago to become their own entity again.

Thats good to hear Randy, They are not the first to buy a company back like that.

Well before I would see the link on Holley's website but it really took some searching, maybe because they were in the process of buying them self back? Well, I like Lunati's cam choice, but there is always a custom grind. Interesting to know...rmcomprandy wrote:bb429power wrote:That should get you to 5500.
