Okay guys,

It's a done deal! Very Happy The host hotel is the DRURY INN at US Hwy 41 and the I-70 interchange. The special rate is $72.99 + tax and when you call the four important words to say are; TECH SEMINAR - ROSE HULMAN.

In addition other hotels are close by, and one of them sharing the same parking lot is the Peartree Inn. Also sharing the same parking lot area is the LoneStar Steak House, and 40 yards across Hwy. 41 is the Texs Roadhouse Exclamation So you can have a prime rib and a few drinks on Saturday night, and then walk back to your room.

Drury Inn's local phone number is (812)238-1206

Bruno/Nevs/Damon, please post this up on the other sites Exclamation

Thanks,
Charlie Evans

They have all been in that general area. Charlie, Lem, Damon and who ever else helps organize the event all live up in that general area. They more or less do it because they are just a great bunch of guys and not to make money so I imagine it will always be around there.

Last year I drove about 700 miles to the seminar, this year will be a little over 600 for me, a lot more for the guys I'm riding with. Regardless, I'm sure they would all tell you it was well worth it. Do like we did and carpool with a group. Cuts down on the expense and gives everyone someone to talk to, and it's a blast! There have to be a few others in your area who would like to go, get them together and do it. Idea

X2 on what Nevs said. We carpooled with Tomas428 and Doug Roope last year and had a ball on the way there and back. The Tech Seminar is a great time to be with all of the guys here and swap stories and listen to great speakers. I know I won't be missing one ever again, I had that good of a time. Very Happy

Is anybody here planning on flying into Indy and renting a car?

If so, I might be interested in riding in that rental with you. I'll split the cost of course. I won't know for a few more weeks if I'll be able to go or not though.

In January the weather can be unpredictable here. I've lived in north central Indiana for almost all of my 44 years and have seen 50 degree temps to -10's with -30 wind chills in January.

It's a crapshoot, last year the weather was perfect, just a little drizzle in Evansville. Otherwise the roads were dry. This year, who knows...We will just have to deal with whatever Mother Nature gives us Exclamation
