There was one world record and two national records set that I witnessed. Very Happy Four bad nitrous backfires that I witnessed too, all chebbies Laughing One chevy broke an axle shaft, one spun the tires and I was like "What the hell are you doing let off the gas before you hit the tree" Plus another guy got back on it after he spun the tires. Rolling Eyes Not a good idea. Well when my f100 is done will you be able to come up here and help me tune it at Milan? Laughing

Probably not a fraction as much as his helicopter. The COAL (busuness) digger was good to the Bowles family Smile

We had a reunion at the local white castle Friday night (Livernois and Warren) where we use to street race back in the day . That's all everybody was talking about was going to Milan Saturday. I wanted to go but I've had my full of watching other race cars go down the track this year.

How did the Fords do vs the chebby's??

livernois & warren... hope you have your concealed pistol license... tough area.

Sat was mainly time trials... sunday is eliminations for the classes.

there were many nice fords, but naturally alot of GMs and there were actually a good amount of Mopars (especially in the 60s nastalgia drag class)
