Sturgis drags

Here is a couple of pics and a vid from Sturgis. The first pic is a guy from SD that has a very hot running 466ci motor with DOOE heads. The second is a blown rail with an Arias/Seyler hemi, and the vid is a pass that he made at 2.008 seconds in a 150' pit.

Larry, I did the same thing about ten years ago. I bumped up to the Modified class just for fun, so being the clown that I am, I went over to the first modified truck I was going to run and looked him in the eyes and said, you better not fall asleep at the light cause I will smoke your ass, he was shocked at first, (he did not know me) but he busted out laughing when I smiled. Well me an my 466 pulled up to the light and it turned green, I give her all she had and was gone without him, 1/4 way down the track (150ft) he was nowhere to be seen over my shoulder, I thought I am going to win this dang race, but about ten foot from the finish I seen a blue streak through my left eye and it was over.
I later went over and ask him if he gave me that head start just playing with me, he laughed and said no, he was not ready when the light turned green

You never know how much piss is in frog till you stomp him.
