Help me on engine choice

I'm trying to decide what engine to use, in my 69 cougar currently is a 429 with wiesco dome pistons H beams, solid cam .256/.260 @.50 640/640 lift
Pro comp heads that flow abouy 300 @.600 195@ .600 victor intake and 850 holley dbl pump. Ran a 11.88 with 456 gears.

Back up engine is a 460, .40 hyper speed pro flat tops, Police interceptor heads no port work yet, and I have a torker II and stealth intake to use.
I am wanting to use the cougar more on the street and was going to go back to a 3.50 gear and was looking at a lunati voodoo hyd. cam 61603.
.227/.233 @ .50 .552/.564 lift .
Anyway my question is which engine do ya'll think I should use ? or combination of the two ? I'd like to build 450 hp and a bunch of torque if possible

460 will work fine
