using aftermarket and factory fuel pumps Empty using aftermarket and factory fuel pumps

Say a guy has a 600+ hp motor and and the factory fuel pump isn't keeping up, and wants to run a electric pump but still keep the factory pump on the block to appear factory. Would you gut the factory pump or use both? Or do most factory style and looking fuel pumps do ok on say a 600+ horse motor? Just wondering

You can run a electric pump thru the Factory pump, the factory pump the becomes an extra thing.

But IMO it would be better to remove it / block it off and run larger lines, the factory stuff is pretty small for anything building and HP.
