Throttle cable?

I have a dominator carb sitting on a 1" spacer with a jeg's brand throttle bracket. I need a 24" cable and I have been told a mid 70's ltd or lincoln will have the cable I need. I checked at o reilly's and they show a cable but the spec I am getting is 21" not long enough for me? Does anyone have a part number of a 24" cable that will work.

I can't help with a Ford # but Locar makes some nice stuff.

Lokar makes a universal cut to length cable. Real nice setup.

If I remember correctly I remember seeing a lokar 24" cable which would be great but then the bracket I just bought I will have to buy the adapter for a different cable which is going to cast me more and I'm on a budget

Thank you so much for your advice O reilly's is the only parts store that showed a cable for 74-78 Ford Ltd but it shows a different number than the lincoln continentals and mark 4's they show a 21" cable and the ltd shows a 23.625" cable which will be perfect I really appreciate all the help guys

the part # at holcomb is TC-1000HT and it is 58.99+tax their # 1-800-475-7223 that is for the Lomar. go ahead and spend alittle more it will be worth it in the long run!!!!!!!!

AutoZone sells a cheap deal.. Works for me!

Yea,just go down to Autozone/Advance and tell them you need a Ford Style cable and have them to look for one thats at least 24". One other thing to look at is the spring length on the cable. If it's to short it won't let your Dommy throttle plates open Fully. Get the longest spring throw that you can get.
