i'll see if i can get some time off ok,i can make it.

If I had a paint job and a powerglide that would hold, I could probably have the truck there. I have all the parts except for the glide, just need some paint and everything put together.

there was a glide for sale on the forum

I was curious how long you've been building your truck? I think I remember seeing pics of it on the old net54 forum. If so you must really be getting anxious getting this close to being done.

Hey guy's,If someone can get me some kind of flyer that I can print off,I will print a couple hundred off and take them to a show in Zephyr Hills Florida next weekend and then to Bradenton the next.

Started in 1990 as a street truck. Tore it apart in 1992 and started playing. Decided to go with a tube chassis in 1993 after helping a chevy buddly build his dragcar. Raced the truck in 1995 and 1996 at 3000 lbs with a 466. Ran 6.13@110. Broke a stock rod in 1996, rebuilt engine for 1997. Made three terrible runs and the wiring caught of fire. Parked the truck until 2003.

In Jan 2003, I removed all the old 2x3 chassis and started over with 4130 CM. Worked on it off and on as I had the funds and time. I started building parts for people to pay for it. This led to me starting my own business in Nov 2006. I went fulltime on July 4th, 2008. I didn't touch the truck from 2006 until now except to carry it to a chassis shop in Aug 2009. I got it back a few weeks ago and it needs to be painted, wired, and put back together. Business is not so good right now, so money is tight. That is the main reason I'm not trying harder to get it done.

So there it is in a nutshell. maybe one of these days it will run again.

For the life of me I can not remember the name of the track where it is held. Someone please refresh me.

David, I have a glide that will work for you!

The pictures I remember must have been when you were building the new chassis around 2003. It will be bad ass for sure when you get it finished.

Thanks for the compliments as always! I am sooo envious of anybody who has a running car to play with. I will never build another one, that's for sure.

Curt, I have a stock case, stock gearset glide. I'm sure it would be in my lap in pieces if I tried to launch at full power I need a good case and good gears; just need the cash to make it happen.
