I am really thinking about it Red. I have it marked on the calender and I will probably call work tomorrow to pencil it in there. Seems how the only thing I have running right now is my t bucket and my 56 (which Lisa said there was no way in hell we were taking) I imagine we will just take her Mustang and enjoy the drive. Ten years ago I would drag my old pinto out from around back and swap a motor in it just for the bash but I have too much stuff to do and I just don't seem to doing those 2am nights in the garage anymore.

Well I sure hope y'all can make the trip up.It's the best time I've ever had at any dragstrip.It's funny you said that about the pinto.I just got off the phone with Blake and I told him I wished I had a roller ready for my engine to go.Man I'm ready to race.Hope you can make it though,we'll have a good time.---RED

Doubt the 73 will be done by may, unless a good C6 or core C6, roller cam, scj heads and 6.8 rods magically apear out of nowhere. But I shall be there even if I have to drive the firebird.....

Is this going to be a Ford only weekend this year? Might be able to bring a couple of fast door car buddies with me. Sounds like a bunch of fun with some great people.

Hey Lem (or Phillip) would it be alright if I promote this on my facebook page? As well if we get some kind of flyer I can email it around to the members of our local Ford club. I know there are a bunch of drag racers there as well.

Im not Lem or Phillip , but i can assure you the more promoting we do on this event the better it will be

I am scheduled to work, but I applied for a day job in the lab, so I might be off that weekend. If I show, I will be spectating (drinking) only, but I would love to make it back to KY again. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

that would be 9 weekends from now, plenty of time to get stuff in order...

Yes Gary,It is all Ford SB/BB Fri/Sat then Sat evening all the other brands come in and have the weekly program. At least thats the way it's been in the past. I'm glad you guy's are coming. Bring T.Whitt w/you.
