wheel nut question

ive got the lightweight front wheel inserts and arp 12 point fasteners for the front , my question is can i use the arp 12 point nuts for the rear wheels ?

The thing I would consider would be the area of contact probably being quite a bit smaller on the 12pt nuts vs the normal deals. Strength wise the nuts will be a-ok but I would likely use a larger hardened washer underneath the nut between that and the aluminum spacer. At that point the weight savings might dissappear.

edit: I am assuming you have the 15/16 flange type nuts with the heavy aluminum washers now??

well this is my issue, i originally had the weld rt wheels and then i switch wheels to accommadate the larger slick so i went with the rt-s wheel this time and the flange from the moroso lug nut is hitting the rim ..... so i was thinkin the 12 point deal would be smaller on the flange side to go down in the holes .....

and im also running the 1.250 " aluminum washers already from moser

Mark Williams has some stainless rear lug nuts that have an encapsulated washer. They are a 7/8" hex. A neat little deal and they look great.
