Picture of 2011 Mustang Fever Sweepstakes GT

Just a couple of pictures of the 2011 Mustang GT I won from the Mustang Fever Sweepstakes. Part of the prize was $5,000 in accessories so the car has CS billet grille, new wheels, stripe kit, sport pedals, 1 1/2 inch lowering kit, 3.73 gear (works great with the auto) and other miscellaneous stuff. Also Ford had my wife and I and the car as their guests at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL this past weekend. We hung out with the Ford people and the Tasca family (Ford Motorcraft funny car) all weekend and had a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime time. Sunday, as part of the pre-race ceremonies Bob Tasca drove me and my Mustang up to the starting line and down the return road. He and I were called up on the stage and interviewed by Bob Frey. My wife got her picture with John Force. I talked to Bob Glidden, Larry Morgan and Don Garlits. The car runs good and I have a Ford pro-cal and tune and drop-in K&N filter coming for it.

Damon, yes they had a Ford photographer following us around on Sunday. Plus several of the Ford people were taking pictures all weekend. Can't wait to get them all.

Nice!! I am kinda partial, though. That $5000 would have almost paid for a Ford Racing 525 hp supercharger kit!

David, Yes I know and I considered it. However, I do have a wife who didn't think that was a good idea. LOL. She said I should get a new shop built (fire took out old one) and get back to work on my 86 coupe.

BTW, I'm hung up on either the Ford 624 kit or the Roush kit. I guess I'll make that decision when I get the money saved up.
