It's closer than that. I ran a 8.41 in my 2011 Mustang and my buddy ran 8.56 in his 2010 Camaro. He dead-hooked and I spun for a little ways. Now the Challenger RT (not the SRT Cool is a different story. I ran one of them and waxed his butt 3 cars by 60 mph. The SRT 8 is much better, but I haven't ran one of those yet.
