to big a carb or not

putting together a new motor its not a big block but a 408 motor, just had the heads flow tested , they flowed 290 @.650 lift intake and 235 exhaust , cam is a 302 dur .630 lift solid roller 13-1 compression with a super victor intake , the carb i have is a 1050 dominatoer, is that to much carb

i have a 393 with heads that flowed 325 I use a 950 and it seems fine a 1050 may be too big IMO

found a guy that will trade my domianoer for a c-s 780 alcohol carb

traded it off for a 850 demon
