Although it's a joke, that would be the end of NHRA Pro Stock IMO. But, I wouldn't put it past the NHRA to eliminate another class to draw more attention to the stupid nitro classes. It would be cool if the cars were limited to "production" only engines though. We know who would dominate the class then.

You want racing ORSCA, NMCA, NMRA and a few others are where to play.

I know that. Those people that get up and leave, are the ones that don't realize, it's those cars and drivers that put drag racing where it is. I'm just the opposite. When the sportsman cars stop running, is when I go mingle. I could give 2 left testicles what the fuel cars do, or how fast they go, or what records they break. They just do nothing for me.

This will certainly tell my age but, I almost couldn't wait to see the TOP GAS dragsters run whenever I went to the drag strip.
REAL innovators with dual "blown" engines and such in their dragsters. They didn't have that smell or have the exhaust pop of the fuel cars; the cancellation of TOP GAS was definitely a "spectator money" thing.

EDIT: I still have my TOP GAS T-shirt from back then which reads. "Injection is neat but, I'd rather be blown".
