It has been forever since the last time I raced. Not that I was planning to this year but what are the basic safety requirements now a days for a slow ass street car? I think my helmet has even expired.

i'm gona be ready somehow.got the chute mount ready to weld on,still gota run the cable and hang the handle.the other end is where things are gona be goen on soon as that big box from FIE get here.i'll get a run on it before the bash,maybe.

New DA shocks are installed...still have to mount and plumb the accumulator...will have that done this weekend. Should be ready to go test next Wednesday and get a handle on the shock settings. Gonna be a lot more fun for me this year since I get to bring my own car instad of a borrowed one. It was kinda interesting driving a car I'd never been in before down a track that I've never been down, at the same time.
Looking forward to it guys...we had a lot of fun last year..and a 2-day hangover to prove it.

Should be bringing the dragster to the track on the 13th... Got trans issues that should be worked out this weekend or early next. I haven't been able to get the pedals moved so I can drive it so it looks like my little brother will get the keys to it!!! Lord help us!!!!

I've only got a few weeks to get him comfortable in the car before we head up to Windy.


Does anybody have a headcount of how many people have already registered? Usually we would know by this time so we can encourage more people to show up. I bring three more with me and maybe one more person with a BBF powered Mustang. Just gotta see how it all pans out!

Looks like another year of testing at the Bash. Our track, Northern Michigan Dragway, dont open till 23apr.
Probly gonna get rained out at Mid-Michigan this weekend, if the weather guy is right.

With my work schedule, it looks like IF I make it, I will have to pay at the gate.


Anyone know how much more it cost at the gate ?

Also.....anyone know how late Thursday night we can roll into the track ????
