Get this one....
I just picked up a motor out of an 87 f350, carbed engine...
and the block castings are DIVE
but it has the counterweight on the front of the crank...

Sounds like someone rebuilt it. An external balance crank will work in a internal balance block ,but not the other way.

I have D9TE block in my Model A with an early internal balanced rotating assembly. it was a lot of work, grinding inside to clear the crank throws, but it can be done. putting a late external balance rotating assembly in an early block is a piece of cake.
