Powerglide fluid capcaity

Got the glide in the dragster last night. How much fluid do you think it'll take? It's dry with about a quart in the converter already. I was thinking about 9-10 total?

I think mine took 8.5, deep pan, metric converter.
put 5 or 6 in it, start up, add one more...............then start usin your dipstick............
