the short bus

i have a msd 6al with a 3 step retard box. using retard step 1 & 2 for my 2 stage nitrous setup. but was thinking if i move to retard step 2 & 3 for nitrous can i use retard step 1 for tuning on motor.. maybe set my total at 38 and change pills till i run best on motor. has anyone tried this

you dont have a timing light? JK,it would be easy to do if you already have it.some folks pull timing in low gear for traction.i'd try it.
