The UHMW (white) spacer is one that I make here, and is simply a cloverleaf type spacer for the big bore carbs. The one that you called phenolic, is actually a red anodized alum. carb shear plate made by Quick Fuel Technology. Each is 1/2" thick.

Thanks for the reply Charlie. I am thinking of adding a shear plate with my Powercone, any advice on this? Also I am wanting some more port work done on my heads, but have a dozen questions, I probably will be contacting you after the first of the year.
