We ran 2 to 2 1/8 w/4" collector an our last sbf nitrous motor. Only run 1 7/8 now but they are turbo headers. Very Happy

I would think at least 2" on any bbf

1 7/8 on a street driver would be ok,but any BBF w/any kind of power I think would perform better w/2". Smaller tubes make more torque, but thats about all imo.

Bigger isn't always better, it depends on what you are using it for and the rest of the combo.

For a street ride that operates in the 2000-5500 range 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 tubes are fine at those cubic inches and they will work fine on larger engines too.

If your after average power the smaller stuff is the ticket (even on a race car), if your looking only at peak numbers the larger stuff is the way to go, but I will say peak numbers do not mean it is going to run better or go faster.

with the NO2 the 2" stuff would be more ideal and should gain you some power.

But with exhaust on sometimes its not that much.

uncapping will definetly help, but you'll need to tune for it or its a waste of time.
