working on a 598 for the truck pulls, useing TFS 340 r series A460 heads ,comp. in the 16s, I would like some input as to what might build the best torqe thru a carb set up,,, tunnel ram with 1 or 2 carbs, or a single plane, ???

If you must run a carb then a dual 4 tunnel ram, if you can run injection a tunnel ram with a hat. The single 4 intake works awesome as well, with alky carbs your gonna need two to feed it properly.

With carburetor(s) and using alcohol for fuel, use 2 carbs; (not necessarily for the extra airflow but, for the capability to get enough fuel into the engine for best torque).
