is 2 valve relive not need on a 460 ford? seen some probes that only have a intake relive and no ex..why

They are scj and p51 valve arrangement specific.

The exhaust valve of most big block Ford engines won't come anywhere close to the piston. Unless there is a really big camshaft involved, there will be plenty of exhaust valve to piston clearance.
