466 with a429

Here is what I have right now D9 block and crank,set if TRW dome pistons L2443NF-30 ,eagle I beam rods,cam will be a solid roller .720 lift not sure on all the spec yet as it is one that Rick aka pulled out of his 557 I will try it 1st as the price is right before buying a new one,heads are from Mike aka QtrWarrior A429s and victor intake ported Mike would know about how they flow better than me,will be running alky yes alky a poor mans fuel ADP 1050 dom.What do you guys think the hp could be on a build like this.Yes I know with out cam specs and flow #s the block will be decked that about all I know right now just a good ball park figure

Depending on the cam and head flow, it should do 700-750hp

My cheapskate motor with less compression and a crappy street roller did 681hp @ 6400

i try to get some cam specs off the box tomorrow if it still at the shop I want to try hit 700hp or more if i can on this build

Shouldn't bea problem with 14:1+ and a proper valve train.

That is basically what my motor is. 466, 2443 pistons,.725 roller, A429 heads, victor, and a toilet. Runs 6.30's at 3200 lbs. My stuff was mostly all secondhand cobbled together as I can spend money on race car. Don't know about HP, but that should give you an idea of what it might run.

The motor they came off of was a 466, 12.5 to 1 CR. Ran those heads and intake with a 1050 Dominator, Also ran an OTS Comp 305H hyd cam...
Was in a 91 Stang with a glide and 4.30 gears on 29x10.5 tires and weighed 2900 lbs

It went low 6.50's @ 106 with no tuning.. We figured it made 625 or so...

Cam specs duro at .50 275 284 lift .708 in .712 ex cl 108

Mike remeber you telling.me that but could mpt remember the times it ran I.want hit 700hp on thls build anything above will be aplus if thos cam dont get me close I will buy a new custom built cam I want get as close to the 6.00 in the 1/8 as I can.After the front end change the truck sould be 2800 to 2900 with me in it

Shift at 6500

My 466 has 14-1 diamond pistons .728 lift 270-278 dur. roller in a 3010lb fox body with me in it. Mafia intake with SV-1 carb. C-4 tranny and Uncle Charlie refurbished heads. (Some one got into them not knowing what they were doing) Car has run 9.30 @145.91 mph with a 5.95 1/8 @117. Thinking I'm in the 750hp range maybe a little higher.
