finally went back to the track..........

I never go to regular t n t nights and I remember why lol. I got there late, I pitted next to a buddy with a big tire studebaker that runs 9's and he was telling me this is the worst he had ever seen this track and he was loading up to go home..............so I'm like great this is a wasted trip..screw it if it gets stupid I'll load it up also and follow his lead.

I put Larry T's I/S Black Widow plate on this turd and swapped fuels from Q16 to VP NO2, also added a progressive I got From Paul. I threw some jets in the carb I thought were close, put the smallest pills in the plate I had, pulled 12.5* of timing from 30, left on 85% all back in at 1.0 seconds. Goes out and rips off what I thought was a 30 pass............they have the 1/4 clocks on and I was clicking it off at the 1/8th so i cant see what it ran lol. We tow back, wife grabs the slip, I get back to the pit and get where I can see it and I swear it musta been a damn misprint..............5.23 @ 132.78, 1.21 60'................the son of a bitch rattled the tire so bad through high gear it vibrated my bottle loose from the bracket and it was clocked 45* from where I put it..........
So the plugs look good, tad fat, I put .5* of timing back in and that was it. When we got to the lanes they asked if we wanted to wait while they sprayed the lanes...hell yeah lol. It was smooth as silk, 60' off a tad and went 5.25 @ 134.26.................I get this bitch in some decent air I feel it has a teen in it............I'm tickled to say the least considering it was 3500' DA.

that plate is a bad moterboat im glad jon was able to buy it.we could'n use it anymoor sence i have the fogger on it 275 rules on bb will only allow 1 system.suposedly the fogger is the way to go but i know the Is plate was easy to tune in.
