kooks headers 5502

do people have picture right side and left side of kooks headers 5502 in fox body.
i have a brand new pair tube of cylinder 2 and 3 pry one to the other ,it impossible to bolt flange on cylinder 2
and the left side the cylinder 6 and 7 are too long beetween cylinder head and shock tower
excuse my english quebec canada

I wasn't sure what part # headers I had, but I just got home and looked and I also have #5502's. I wasn't sure because you talked about prying on the headers and I figured you must have had a different model since mine had individual tubes w/ removable collectors. Assemble the headers by putting a gasket on and loosely bolt the tubes to the heads one at a time. Leave just enough slack to allow some movement in the tubes at the collector end. I ussually put a small ammount of anti seize on the end of the tube to help them get started into the collector. After you get all the tubes on 1 side, crawl under the car slide the collectors on the tubes and install the 2 small bolts to secure them. If you have trouble getting it on try loosening the offending tube slightly at the head to get it to line up. A piece of 2x4 across the open end of the collector and a small dead blow hammer can help if it doesn't want to go on. The individual header tubes make it a snap to install or remove them. I used to have Hookers and they were such a pain that I took them off for the last time with a sawzall! Good luck with your project.

YES ... the collectors need to be installed after all the tubes are bolted in place, loosely.

the header is on motor on stand not on car the right side the tube 2 et 3 pry extremely one over the other the collector is just slide a little bit on tube ,i put never seize in the collector .
the left side the tube on cylinder 6 and 7 are too long when is start to the head befero the bend to clear shock tower
if a people have the picture of the header on left side to compare with mine

the header is for big bl;ock 460 with cj exhaust port in fox body

my old header is a hooker set and iis fit better than my kook for less the third of the price of kook
