date is set for 2013 ford race

The PA posse thing is way over rated. Unusually loud, out of shape, over weight toad faced fools. Trying to get 4500 pounds of green steel to get into the high 6’s and hit triple digits. But we always have fun, and we’ve met some absolutely great folks. Count many of you as friends. The only part I struggle with is figuring out when you boys are just being funny and when you’re not. Maybe I’m just not quick enough to catch the nuances of what passes as humor. Anyway, if badmouthing someone is cool some of this crowd would be icebergs.

I hope everything works out perfect for this race. track surface is better than windy hollow i agree. Prepped better no, pits better no, firetruck, no, 2 emts no, nhra sanctioned no, insurance i dont know for sure but dont think so, sponsor ins no.

Everbody will have a great time at us 60 and the owners are great people. the track is wider than Windy hollow and they will treat you all great. It is a very small town with not much to do so the spectator count is great. So should be a big crowd. I personally dont think its much easier to stop there but if you run 5.00 in a door car you can stop and a hardtail dragster at 4.80 can stop. suspended dragster 4.50 will be fine. Run quicker than that pull the chute and you have no worries. Hope to see some of you there and the first 5 Oakley motorsport customers that have a engine of ours we will pay your 100 entry fee and first 5 that have cylinder heads we have done or purchased a carb from lem or I will get 50 paid towards your entry. just let me know and i will arrange payment with george.

It is very hard to get an event like this at a big track and have the run of the place. So you have to work with the smaller ones. Its a ton of work and i for one will enjoy just getting to visit with everyone this time.lol Thanks Phillip

thanks to everyone who's get'n this race together! i'm gona do my best to get my car done so i can be part of the fun.either way i plan to see the wheelstanding truck again!

I haven't been active w/car in a couple seasons because of being busy and not having the car ready,but when Dan told me that George and Wes were going to have a Ford race in Ky . I suddenly got excited that we could all be together again like we did at the Bash's.I was hoping this would be like the old days being all layed back and just everyone coming together and just having fun. I'm still excited about this get together,so lets keep it fun and simple.

ps...The guardrails don't bother me,LiL Tweety stays in the groove. If it don't, then Shit happens

Should be a great time with even better friends!! I'm looking forward to it for sure, especially since we only bring the car out a couple times a year. Just hate it that Momma and Poppa bear can't make it. I've ran at both tracks Windy and 60,US 60 will out hook Windy 8 days a week 60 does carry insurance too. Just want to clear that up,hope all you guys can make it

I wouldnt sweat the guard rails, if it comes to that anything can happen.............hell the trip up there has more risk that the race itself.

If it was not happening on the weekend it is and was within 3-400 miles I'd make the trip anyway just to donate to the heads up class.

Bring it i'm sure we can get you some grudge racing might make little cash might lose some

Sir you did not race at windy hollow while i had the track and the bash. Who is the carrier if you dont mind me asking. If they have sponsor insurance i may be able to race this event.
