getting faster and starting to wiggle a little, noticed the passenger side front tire is out of wack, so i will be getting that fixed before i make any more passes, going to order a vic jr or super vic next week and do back to back testing and see how that goes, im guessing with a vic jr it will go 11.90s

made it into the 11s, still same everything, only changes was i realigned the front, still need to adjust the toe in and out, 1.66 60ft 7.55 1/8 mile and 11.94@111mph 1/4 mile

picked up a ton in 1/8 mile..im .006 from having to get a cage which is 7.49, car ran 7.55

Alot ot people think tuning is just the engine..... Wrong ! its amazing how much can be gained from getting EVERYTHING right !

i know, and im still not done i always tell my buddy's that a person will spend close to half a season working kinks out and fine tuning on a new car before it gets to where it should be,i think as is, and just get some good suspension parts on it , may go some 11..75-80 range, may get some drag shocks up front and rear, still using the Chinese pos intake, with ports the size of a peanut

i know, im still on 26x6 slicks..tiny cam and Chinese dual plan intake, with a anderson cam im putting in , vic jr and 28x9 tires, may go 11.40--50 range

it will go that, just not with the cam and intake i have on it now, this Chinese dual plane intake works ok for a cheap ass $50 intake, the tfs-2 cam is not bad, i have the heads and its choked way down, the cam goes dead at 6000rpom, im crossing the line at 7100, think i will see how fast i can run on 26x6 inch slicks

not sure if its the heat or what..best on Friday was 12.14..then Saturday ran 12.28 and 12.39 was best, just don't fell right on those slower passes, like its way down on power, it was good 3 tenths slower Saturday , going to check few things out

it may be possible that since i run 91 pump gas the blend has changed with summer, ill try av gas and see if it picks back up

had the car on a lift yesterday, the traction bars was mounted to far back and the snubber was hitting the springs, both side are bent to shit, i moved to the bar and snubber to where to hit the eye mount and had some nasty sounding muffler put on, picking up cam at 10am, ordering intake monday

found some trash in the screen on the fuel pump, have a appointment at the aliment shop Friday, picked up new cam today ordering new intake Monday

it was about 25% blocked, its only a holley red to start with, so any blockage would really cut output down..ill find out saturday

all racing was cancelled for the weekend here, picked up a vic jr intake and spent the day port matching it and cleaning casting lines etc, installed new cam, almost have it all back together

changed cam and intake, car pulls like a fright train but has major stumble and puttering..loading up..all in the 1/8 mile..still goes to 7000 on top end but bad below that..i can tell when i get that fixed it will go 11.50 or better..as it is ran 12.21 at 100 degree out..and won the trophy class today in tulsa, cut a .010 light and got 2nd round bye..then a .020, putting a holley hp on car tomorrow
