I've picked up a low mileage Dove block, Dove-C headed engine to put in my streeter.

I'm thinking some porting, 2.19-1.71 valves, roller rockers, flat-top hypers, Stealth intake, deep pan, oil pump & this cam

Or would it be better off with a solid?

3600 pound car, 4,000 stall with 4:11 gear.

Let me know what you guys think....

George.

IMO the converter might be a little loose for a street combo if it will actually be seeing a decent amount of street/highway driving.

You're probably right Dave but i'm just trying to use what i have as this engine will only be used for a short time,
i'm more curious to see if anyone has used this cam or if there's another one that would work better.

I've used the Comp XE284 hyd cam in my d0ve headed motor and it ran well. I've hear good things about te Lunati Voodoo line though so I'd say it will work well. Why change the pistons if it has low miles?
