Carb switch to Alcohol Empty Carb switch to Alcohol

Ok.  still kicking the idea around.  Looked into injection, but with the economy being what it is that out of the question right now.

My question is My Dominator.  Is is ok to convert it over or is it better to start with a New "dedicated" Alcohol Carb from the
beginning, and keep my gas Carb complete.  It is a nice piece.

I don't know the ins and outs of the Carb VS the Alcohol Carb internals so I don't know what all is involved with the switch.

Has anyone used or tried the new vacuum dedicated Carb from pro systems?

Any insight would be great!!

Mostly for the added cooling effect and to tighten up my package a little bit more. My Gas Carb is jetted correct and is very consistent,
but you always look to better/tighten it up a bit. The lower cost of the fuel is also a benefit.

I have a APD carb that has been converted from gas. Yes the internal parts will have to be changed APD will convert yours and give a flow sheet with it they will build it to your engine. Go to the Conversions & Rebuilds on the top of the page.

it will cool better than on gas.the price is another thing but you will use at least 2 times the alky as gas.if you gota run it a lot to get some heat in the motor, etc. the big thing with it is to fix up a vac port to uncap and lean it out at idle to get heat in it fast.with injection i just pull the fuel shutoff cable out to lean it.if you dont like to change oil often dont just start the car to hear it run Laughing  and at the end of the night be sure and get it at least 160*....180*is best.this will help cook the moisture/alky out of the oil.
