Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
I just want to keep it to myself for now guys, I am the one who decided to keep the numbers to myself. I want to surprise people with the car once it is lined out. This is not a snap together engine by any means Rich put a lot of effort into it and it paid off. We made four pulls and literally the only change made was to adjust the vacuum. It was really amazing that his tune up was so good right out of the gate. This was my first trip to a dyno so I was nervous and excited at the same time.

It's gonna take some work to get the car down the track but I have a great person helping me so I am confident it will work out.

Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
Eric, the new engine looks good.
I wish I had the dough for Rich to build me a stroker for my ranger project.
Sometimes I wish my junk had dyno #'s. Just so I could brag about the whole 500hp:lol:

Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
Doesn't matter what it makes. Congrats. Now get that thing in a car so I can run away from that bitch like its tied to a stump.
Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
Being as it has caused such an uproar here are the results;
XXXhp@7750
XXXlb/ft from 5700-6700rpm's it never dropped even one foot pound for 1000rpm's
On the pull before that it made XXX@7750 but AFR was 14.5:1. Made an adjustment to the carbs and on the next pull it made XXX AFR was still 14:1 and it needed bigger jets but it was 11pm due to having to drive 4 hours to borrow headers to clear the dyno I decided that was good enough because we know it will gain 20-30hp from a jet change once it goes in the car.

Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
I dont think it unreasonable to pick up some with more fuel. It seems to like to rev.
Re: Thank you Rich at Circle R!
Thinking around 13.5:1 AFR it will be real happy and it may like some more timing by the looks of the plugs.
It may even want bigger carbs.

Haven't ruled that out yet, I don't plan to for right now I have to get the car sorted out first I am hoping 8.50's N/A in good conditions.
